I agree. The deadhead doesn't change anything. 3 in a row is the max that can be done.

Thank you for the reference. The explanation here explains it well.

"A duty break is a period in which a Flightcrew member is given a sleep opportunity in a suitable
accommodation of at least 2 hours between 22:00 and 05:00.

A flightcrew member is not allowed to be assigned to more than 3 consecutive NFDPs –
unless the following conditions are met …
 All of the NFDPs must contain a duty break.
 The Flightcrew member may be assigned a maximum of 5 consecutive NFDPs."

Anyone know of decent FLL crash pads with availability? The only ones I've found have been over 500 bucks. I don't need a palace, just a bed. Thanks!

Ask around in the crew room about Flossi's. You don't need a car and it's about $200/month. Pad management has changed since I was there so I don't know who is running the place so I can't give you contact info. Sorry!

I hope we are not negotiating to get back open time at 150%. If there is no open time to pick up what's the point. It's a lost cause if these garbage trips gets picked up at straight time within seconds of being posted.

Yes. Also, what is the incentive for the company to build lines with more days off if they know they'll be at a higher risk to pay premium for those days. I have personally experienced this type of situation in the past with another company and on average the lines had 13 days off per month.

Agree.^^^

The company has direct control over days off, reserve staffing and relief lines. They will minimize open time, at 150%.
One could argue that it might be more cost effective to pay 150% for a few trips, than overstaff. Days off are free however, and they will be minimized.

DFW lines corrected?

On line 55, W4043 on Dec 11th and W4043 on Dec 12th have been removed.
On line 60, W4045 on Dec 17th and W4046 on Dec 18th have been removed.
Upon award, TAJ will be added to the schedule covering the effected dates.

Is that the one next to the economy lot? I inquired about it and it is full.

Why? Have we negotiated something already? How was it used previously? Were any of you here when open time did pay 150%?

Being that we're not even negotiating yet, I wouldn't rule anything out.
