"Subject to the Company’s rights to use management pilots as described in Section 25, special projects that involve any flying of the aircraft shall be placed into open time for bid by all pilots and awarded in accordance with Section 25. Open time bids on special project flying from pilots not yet qualified for the special project will be rejected. If special project flying requires additional qualification, such qualification training shall be placed for bid by all pilots in accordance with Section 24."
Do they only tell us about arbitrations that we 'supposedly' won? I just read them the riot act on the survey.

Yes. I just checked my spam folder. I hope the MEC sends out a "non-spam" e-mail message alerting pilots about this. Just unbelievable.

Here's the link for it... You need to log in to your ALPA account to access it...

Just another reason why we need the change in our union here. His behavior goes unchecked and is union sanctioned. He never has faced consequences for his actions by our union leadership. If you remember back during the recall he also along with another union member created a fake blog post defaming me with the same single document. I also had a police report against him for him calling me personally and threatening bodily harm if I showed up to a union meeting and continued to campaign for a no vote on our 2010 contract. I followed up by also making a complaint to our then LEC chairman F.H. He just laughed and said that was his little bulldog. This is actually the catalyst for why I started the recall against F.H. Soon after I made attempts to get ALPA to release the financial records that were being hidden from us, I realized why there was so much secrecy, blatant abuse of the ALPA trip drop system by certain union members. D.P. was voted out in a landslide as the F.O. rep in FLL and yet was getting trip drops for "special projects" long after his departure from his elected position. Then I started digging deeper, and found out that others were getting this treatment as well. After membership votes out an elected rep through a democratic process, he was then appointed to "new" position in order to keep his union protection. I know most of you know this already, but since there have been many new pilots hired here since the strike, TA, and after the reprehensible attempt by a union member to disparage and maliciously libel me here on this forum, the history needs to be addressed. I won't even get into the many other ways that I have been libeled, but it includes new hire FO's flying with a certain other member of our union who likes to get out his folder inflight and talk about how terrible I am, he shows the same document apparently. I have heard stories that I have failed drug tests and have some special power with management and the FAA to get it thrown under the rug, etc, the list goes on. While over the past few years I have simply documented it quietly. I have never had a problem with disagreements and I am always happy to have a debate on the facts, but flat out lies, and false allegations against me from union appointed members has gone on long enough. Why am I such a threat that it warrants this type of reprisal and absurd behavior? You need not worry about me backing down for doing what is right, these events only strengthen my resolve to get this union in check and transparent to it's membership. Those of you eligible to vote in LEC077, whether you are for or against me, please take the time to vote, this pilot group has been apathetic long enough, please engage your union and tell them how you want to be represented. I am hoping for a minimum of 90% participation in this next election. There are so many new faces here at Spirit, take back your union and make it work for you.

You speak the truth Cole. I remember all this. You had the balls to speak up and challenge the status-quo while most pilots back then were either disengaged, didn't care or simply didn't want to get involved and "take it for the team." For standing up for what is right, you got the brunt of hate and suppression. You have my respect and my vote.
