Spiritman,
I gave you the facts. I am sure a FOIA request would get you the rest of the documents, however I am not going to scan 1500 pages just to make you happy. You have crossed a legal line, I will not engage you further, I gave you a chance to backtrack on your slander and since you are a official union appointee, you have a duty to represent and not slander and libel your fellow pilots. I obviously have held other airline jobs since then, so if I was such a big liar and showed a lack of character, then most likely I would not have made it through the interviews. That is the last I will say to you.
To the other Spirit pilots on here,
I apologize that a few pilots, regardless of their position for or against can be so radical in their views and spit such hatred toward each other. I am no fan of the current MEC but I must respect the will of the membership. I intend to make honest changes with my fellow pilots in LEC077. While I may not be a fan of their ideology, if they stay in power then they must get my support along with the others during this next negotiation. Your vote decides whether you want that change, or to continue with the current status quo. I am merely running for a non-politcial position for one reason, making your union leadership transparent to hold all of us accountable. I know most of you have been to our website to see what we stand for and our commitment to you. I have never served in ALPA, nor do I aspire to ALPA leadership, I see a void, I have principles, and I want the check and balances in place. I am an outsider, as some of the naysayers have said, I also made a mistake 15 years ago in 1999 and got a DUI, (for those of you interested in the DUI story, see my previous post) so I doubt you have to worry about me jumping ship to Delta. I am invested in Spirit.
For those of you unaware of our promises to you in LEC077, here it is again.
1. Open the finances for all membership. This has been required by our bylaws, but hidden from us for over 5 years. If there is nothing to hide, then show us what has been required of you by our SPA bylaws.
2. We will go above and beyond and publish all trip drops, with a reason as to why the trip was dropped.
3. We will bring forward a resolution that mirrors the FLL resolution requiring a vote from our membership as to who is negotiating on our behalf. We want the best candidates negotiating on our future, you should be allowed to decide that. We are still early in the game, there has been no early opener, or meeting yet with the company, this is a clean slate.
Apparently the last time I got ALPA to release the financials and trip drops and made our pilots aware, I must have made some real enemies by knocking their hands out of the cookie jar. I did it before, and I will do it again, if that is what keeps your union accountable to you. Those of you that were here then saw the "volunteers" that were abusing the system, if this is not the case now, there should be no issue with publishing it. These are not trade secrets, the company authorizes all drops anyway.
As you can see, I have no problem standing up for you and putting my name on any of my correspondence. You can obviously see on this site who stands to lose if we open the door to your union for you. Please feel free to PM me or email me from our campaign site if you have any questions on my integrity or my DUI or what my intention is here at Spirit. Win or lose, I am here till retirement and I intend to support the winning candidates, however we can agree to disagree.

This is why Cole has no business in this union. He has wasted enough alpa dollars already with his little tiffs. Cole has had a lot to say over the yrs including during the strike and had never backed anything up with facts or proof. If you want a good laugh just call DP and ask him.

Cole... You have my support. Make them open the books as is required. Anyone who opposes that obviously has something to hide.
I have only heard one person here mention SCOPE for the new contract. Seems maybe that should be a little higher priority? Anyone else worried about merger protection? Thoughts?

ALPAshutusdown, Would you please explain your sign in name?
My opposition wants everyone to believe differently, but I'm a big ALPA supporter. In my experience, ALPA doesn't shut anything down. "ALPA" being ALPA National. Spirit ALPA being a totally different being.
So, is your problem with ALPA, a totally necessary entity, or with someone/something else. If your problem is with our ALPA local or master councils, then you need to change your moniker because you're making those of us in the loyal opposition look bad.
Don't play into their hands!

Gotcha! But with the insiders continual attempts to paint everyone who differs with them as "anti ALPA", we've got to go to all lengths to make all understand that we are as much if not more pro ALPA than are they.
A bunch of pro pilot, pro pilot Association, SPA ALPA pilots are trying to win SPA 77 elections. This isn't ALPA against anti ALPA like some want everyone to believe, I'm not even sure that if it weren't for outside influences all four Rep candidates would probably look pretty much alike. The only difference seeming to be that two of the candidates are part of the current team and two are not part of the current team.
Just be careful with the language, OK? We really are ALPA!

Thanks for straightening that out. My gut feeling is that if ALPA (National) had anything to do with the shut down it was due to the wining of the local. I suspect they used the legal arm of National to fight their local politics.
We are with you Cole. Don't back down, however if I ever thought you were anti ALPA without a wonderful plan for an in house union you would be dead in my mind. That goes for you too 'ALPAshutusdown'

Not anti-ALPA, just anti current SPAMEC, I am still just trying to make our union open and honest so we all have a say in our future. Also if I gain a position here, the last thing I will do is use my position to belittle, disparage, or outright lie about members on anonymous forums. This is just another example of why we need to clean house. I believe a union member should be above reproach, whether you agree or disagree, you need to keep things professional. As you can see on here there is no control over these union members and their posts on here, as I stated earlier a legal line has been crossed by certain members of our union, paperwork and sworn depositions take time, but the alleged will be held responsible.

You mean Spiritman "madman" here on APC? Yeah. Call him to listen to his garbage. We all know it's him. Zero class, smearing another fellow ALPA pilot on a public forum due to his personal hate of Cole and absolute desperation he'll will be elected. This coming from a former status rep, big buddy with the current MEC. No wonder he wasn't reelected.

Looks to me like normal politics when running for any office for that matter. If he gets elected I guess we will all have to keep our mouths shut or be sued. We all know he has the money to do it after the latest read from Cole but my guess is he will borrow the money from his family execs at Indigo lmao. It's probably a good thing our past reps didn't sue him after all the years of slandering or that massive blowout of a recall on Frank. Oh that he didn't show up to
