Just got hired and start class 3/3. What's the wait time for a new hire to hold DFW? Can you hold a line at the 1 year mark?

The most junior 2 people holding DFW on the March bid were from the 12/9/13 class. Two more FO vacancies being added to DFW in April, plus backfills. If you can't hold it out of training, it won't be but a couple of months before you should.

Congrats! You should be able to hold DFW pretty quick. Maybe by the time you leave training. You will definitely be a line holder by the 1 year mark. Probably more like 4 month mark. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome guys! Looking forward to it after getting beat up at a regional for 7 years. Sweating the training a bit right now though. Knee deep in systems, limitations and flows.

Run through the systems CBT's once before class. Don't get too hung up on them. Take a look at limitations and memory items, but spend most of your effort on the flows. The Pre-flight flow is the biggest bear (it has its own tab), the rest are pretty straight forward.
