...Why do that to her?...
Hot Monkey Love upon his triumphant and safe return home? I might send that text to my wife right now, thanks for the suggestion.

More advertisement. Wonder how long before they finish reviewing the stupid surveys and start implementing their solution to our customer experience.

The author of this article is simply a moron. He is posting and writing on the financials of the airline yet still complains that he did not receive a "complementary beverage." All credibility of the piece is lost for me when the "financial writer" doesn't understand that his "complementary beverage" is nowhere near "complementary" at any other airline

Reading a lot of the complaints, most appear to be from people not planning ahead. I did some pricing on Spirit for our vacation next summer and it appears if you anticipate bags and pay ahead, pack a lunch and drinks to go, and show up early, you can avoid the really hefty fees. Even with the bags and seat preference fees, the tickets will still be way cheaper than any other airline. As for reclining seats and a few extra inches of legroom, I had to sit on a 757 from Kuwait to DFW in a similar configuration. If these people can't do it for a couple of hours, I'd hate to see them be squeezed into one of those Omni charters full of Army dudes for 16+ hours...

Be prepared to spend the entire day. You might consider driving up the night before so you are not too tired when you meet the recruiters.

This is extremely good advice. Take it from a guy who got up super early the day of a job fair and was a total zombie when it came time to talking to the Spirit folks. And I had a low number.

Get some rest and show up ready to bring your best.

Well I'm in the upper 200s...guess it's a safe bet that I won't be talking to anyone until late in the afternoon? I'm driving in the night before and will attend the morning events. I might have to find something to do in between...

A little public service announcement; Woutlaw is a real-deal good hombre, and I think the good folks at Spirit would enjoy flying with him! I hope you get to know him. He goes out of his way to help people-that's just the kind of person he is. Some people play nice at an interview, but then there are some folks who just genuine people, and he is the latter!

Sssshhh! I have a crusty freight dog reputation to uphold. :-)

But seriously, y'all get some rest and wow the Spirit folk. Good luck to all!

Default Spirit application

I applied @ Spirit on 22 August and have an email from them verifying they received my application. I tried to login to update my resume' but I can't seem to come up with the correct username. The web page allows for this and asks me to put my email address into the user name section but when I do this I get an error message that there is no account associated with this email address -- even though I've got an email from Spirit at this email address confirming they've received my resume' . I tried replying to the "we've received your application" email and nobody responded.

I've considered opening a new account with a different username, but I don't want to anger somebody in HR who sees 2 applications for the same person from different email addresses. Any suggestions where to go from here?
