I expect that some of the 19's will go , but history has shown that marketing drives the company, so don't be surprised to see them still planned for use when they are slated to go.

yeah, ultimately the fleet plan should reflect what the current lease contracts and new airbus deliveries stipulate.

even if spirit is thinking about keeping the A319s for longer by extending the leases, they probably would't publicize that yet. doesnt make for good bargaining with the lease company also, why commit now if you dont need to for several years.

Agreed... Rumor is we are always looking for more planes....at the right price... Spirit's right price. I'd be surprised to see the list remain the same till 2021..

And chances of more orders are always on the table...it's really weird to see this 30 airplane company for years to be going the 150 plus AC right before our eyes.

If this place really does become a 150 A/C operation, that would mean I would be in the top 1/3rd-ish of the company.........too good to be true, lol

The people express pilots are now getting a 16% defined contribution from united and got to keep their bases. All was not lost.

Yeah, the 16% part is nice, but it's only been around for less than 8 months.......

Can you give a general estimate of when various seniority numbers will be seen? I'll be doing a round trip drive there and back from San Antonio and do not want to leave at 4am only to wait 12 hours to get to see Spirit, then drive 5 hours home.

Thanks!
