Spirit of NKS

I'm looking in to Spirit and applied recently...I have just under 3400TT, nearly all turbine ME (mil C-130 and Learjet IP/EP). I've heard they can look the other way on their 4k hour requirement on a case-by-case basis. How true is that?
Also, how long would it take to hold DFW? I'm going to the Dallas job fair as well...any pointers on what to say/expect? Thanks!

Thanks...the more I look in to Spirit the more interested I am. They appear to be growing quickly which is great news. And DFW would be an easy commute for me. They did ask if I had 3k hours on the initial app so I was wondering about the 4k requirement. Hopefully I'll be able to make a good impression in Dallas in a couple weeks.

Make a good impression at the Dallas job fair, be personable and positive, no reason you shouldn't have a shot at Spirit.
One guy in my class got DFW right out of training, it could probably be held after no more than a couple of months.
Best of Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I've got my suit ready, it sounds like Spirit would be a good place to be.

Wouldn't be too surprising. But then again, I know a couple Spirit guys that have apps out at Delta and United. The bottom line still remains which is that Virgin/Spirit/JetBlue/Frontier are still Airbus LCCs and the pay/retirement/QOL package long-term is still far better at a legacy like AA/UAL/DAL. As from my personal experience, I've only flown with two CAs that were actively looking to leave. The majority seem to be staying. Of course, that kinda thing is always subject to change.

Just giving everybody a heads up for the DFW job fair. Spirit just announced today that they are limiting the number of attendees to 300. There are 18 tickets remaining.
