Couple of questions, I have applied already and was mostly wondering about the health ins you guys have. I did search the thread but didn't come up with much other than you switched from Atena to UHC. Mostly what are the deductibles? I'm paying a little over $8000 a year for our health ins $6000 deductible and about $2000 out of my check for the year, plus the fact that our ins is crap and often refuses to pay for things that have been pre-approved so I get random bills for another $3000. Any insight into your ins would be helpful.

We have several plans, I don't have the details for all of them.
For a family of four I pay around 280$ every other week. 11$ copay, prescriptions are pretty cheap and the deductible is around 750$ for the whole family or something like 250$ per person.
It's a bit tough sometimes to find a provider depending where you live, but overall i personally think that it's not so bad.
The only problem, the company can increase the premium by 7% every year.
Hope this helps.

Spirit of NKS

Some good news....

Miramar, Florida (July 10, 2013) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today reported its preliminary traffic results for June 2013 and year-to-date 2013.

Traffic (revenue passenger miles) in June 2013 increased 25.2 percent versus June 2012 on a capacity (available seat miles) increase of 22.0 percent. Load factor for June 2013 was 88.3 percent, an increase of 2.2 points as compared to June 2012. Spirit's preliminary completion factor for June 2013 was 98.3 percent.

"We continue to be pleased with how customers are responding to our strategy of liberating cities from high fares," said Ben Baldanza, Spirit's Chief Executive Officer. "We experienced strong demand during the second quarter which produced revenue that was in line to slightly better than our expectations. Based on our current booking trends we expect to see continued demand strength throughout the summer."

The following table summarizes Spirit's traffic results for the month and year-to-date ended June 30, 2013 and 2012.

Second Quarter 2013 Guidance
The Company estimates its total revenue per ASM (RASM) for the second quarter 2013 decreased 2.5 to 3.5 percent year-over-year, which is in line to slightly better than we previously expected.

The Company's second quarter 2013 cost per available seat mile (CASM), excluding special items and unrealized mark-to-market hedge gains, is estimated to be between 9.76 cents and 9.81 cents. Spirit estimates its CASM ex-fuel for the second quarter was between 5.98 cents and 6.03 cents. This CASM ex-fuel estimate is in line with the Company's previous guidance range.

Have fun in RSW tomor....er, later today. A couple long days of delays, high block time and a reduced rest redeye in the mix and I get to go home and you (at least I'm guessing it's you that got tagged, judging by the reserve coverage) get to fly my trip. :D
Hope your day goes better than the past few I've had. :)

Hiring going to 30/month for new rest rules and expansion. New seniority list that came out this week shows 802 pilots now. Almost 60 below me now as an April hire and grateful everyday that I get to live in base now and drive to work plus pick up junior man trips. Credited 130 hours last month and projecting 100 so far this month.
