I get annoyed when I read about Spirit being on the bottom, the passengers may have their knees up to their chest, may have to "pay" for everything but they seem to be treated nicely by gate agents and FAs and usually people are very thankful and happy getting off the plane.

Oh well........

I think Shy is just ****ed his uniform sucks

Anyway, I think Ben has it right

That was a mistake, I meant rock bottom fares. If you see the context it was in, that should make sense. I don know why wage got in there. Sorry. It was suppose to be fares.

Tell us about the QOL over at Virgin. You got like 10.9 pilots per plane while we have 15.5. Seriously dude. Just get lost.
That pilot uniform was modified, and the current one is better than the one pictured.

How much money did Spirit make last year? Or did you mean profit %?

Rock bottom wages, nickel dime the passengers at every corner, and pack them in worse than a can of sardines. Yes NK will be at te bottom of every customer service survey. Why are you surprised?

How's that KCM thing coming? What concessions did management want, again? Only profitable airlines would pay for that service, right?

Cue the "I don't really need KCM" and "my company doesn't have to pay for that" crowd......
Not sure where you get the 'rock bottom wages' from......oh wait, let me guess....you're not smart enough to look beyond the pay rates, right? I know many junior Captains around here that are pulling down upper $100's and some over $200K or more by working the contractual soft-time language.

By the way, how's Virgin's contract?

For the year, Spirit reported earnings of $108.5 million, a 41.9 percent increase over 2011, and revenue of $1.32 billion, a 23.1 percent improvement over the previous year.

My airline is better than your airline! Guys circle the wagons, he said something bad about us!!!

Geez...Guess what, you guys both fly the same friggin planes to probably many of the same places. One group does it el cheepo style, the other with a little more flare...but all that crap goes on behind the cockpit door anyway so I imagine you're all drinking the same Coke up front and stayin at the same Holiday Inn.

The real question is which one of the 2 will still exist in 10-15 years, and/or still have a good contract at that time...

I wish I knew the answer since I've applied to both of them. I wish it would be Virgin because I like the way they do things, but I'm thinking Spirit would be the safer choice due to people being cheapskates and all..
