Couldn't you say the same prior 2011? That would include your hire date Ram.

Legit is getting your face in front of those responsible for hiring.

Agreed, paying $100+ is wrong (yet so is Ram for telling those interested not not to go).

Catch 22 yet I would attend. Show early and you might make a good first impression. Just my .02.

.

At what point did I say don't go?

My exact words were: "If you have the cash to blow on a lottery ticket, have at it."

Yaw, I'm glad you are on board with NK. As for Ram, I was going to ask him, once again, why he has not left for greener pastures during his tenure at Spirit, but it is too obvious why he has not moved on.

I think we all bxxxh and complain about our coworkers, airplanes and company in general, we find anything to channel personal and professional frustrations. WE ALL DO IT.

I am not defending RAM, we do disagree on many things, but because he makes comments that we don’t like it doesn’t mean that he wants to move on. I think he is smart enough to know when to go and when to stay, just like us.

Just the nature of the bizz.

Cheers.

I concur with you sailor... I just wanted him to say something positive about NK for once. But a mid 90's hire has had many a chance to leave....

I agree shifty..we all have different reasons for everything. We want everything to be flawless. Amazingly I'm sure we all can be drinking a beer together and agreeing on many things. Like I said, this is our corner to vent.

I don't personally know Ram nor who he is, but I have a feeling he isn't all that bad.

With time, our team it's gonna get bigger and with that more groups will form with new, old and off property ideas. Creating new arguments. Also our new contract will be due for renewal and that will open more cans.
At the end we still do that SAP turn in the middle of the night together.

cheers.

Ahhhhh, SAP turns in the middle of the night!!!! Miss those!!! (not really...) Especially with a FO who decides to start descending on the "Glide Slope" even though the localizer needle is pegged to the right still!!!

Why? Some mid nineties hires were over fifty in those mid nineties. Some were senior with huge training dept over-rides. Some just wanted to live in their home town and fly out-and-backs. I didn't get here til the late nineties, but this place used to be a flying club. Why would a near senior citizen, with good seniority and all that goes with it, leave and go to the bottom of a weak legacy's list? Some of you guys need a wee bit of empathy for the more "life experienced" among us.
