Guys/ Gals,
Same story different day I know. I have applied at NKS for about a year now online, but havent gotten the nibble. 10+ years in the airlines from RJs to widebodies, and cant get no love!
I know that no-oneowes me a job, and I understand that NKS is very attractive right now, but whats a guy got to do to get noticed by the powers that be?
These online aps dont do you many favors either. Any advice for someone who doesnt know anyone at Spirit, but would still love to come aboard?
Also upcoming furlough looms, is this a deal killer?

I worked there. Left for UAL. Got furloughed 8 months later. When NKS started hiring, I sat on the fence to "re-apply". I finally did. Got the link for the FULL application (October of 2011). A LOT of internal recommendations (Capts, Check Airman, First Officers, Flight Attendants), typed, PIC in type, (AT SPIRIT!), 7 years there, live 1 hour from ACY, etc.
I didn't get a call...
So who knows?

I dont know what happened on www.spiritpilotboard.net but it looks like the you know what hit the fan. Someone else retracted a derogatory post and many jumped in condemming P/L. Looks like a clean-up is in progress.

Nothing wrong, just that i came across 2 ALLGNT pilots, that have heard something in the back cooker about Us and them. It's most likely nothing, just a rumor, as always.
I just wanted to get it here and clean it up.
