Most of us that are here, have been there. There is still a lot of readers and there used to be a lot of posts. Some good stuff, line talk, etc. There is still a bit of that. Also, for many of us on furlough that board was a lifeline in a way. I did appreciate that. But it turned into mud throwing. Peeps with several logins, censoring out MEC guys, false accusations, etc. You name it. I will admit, some of the impersonations were entertaining. I.e. Oksar. His English was poor. I guess he was supposed to be an immigrant. But you could tell it was fake. I remember once the creator of that character must have posted drunk. He forgot what he logged in with and posted something that was proper English.
If you are for real ('cause everyone with a low post count like you is suspicious here ) go and try it yourself. Post something like "I love this job. So much better than my regional!". Or "Spirit is a nice little gig" (That last one was an actual post by my sim partner. Hey E. Do you remember? LOL) See what happens

Spirit isn't a regional. It SHOULD be better than a regional, because all regionals are horrible. Spirit pilots should not be comparing themselves to pilots who work at entry-level jobs, which regionals are, but should be comparing themselves to other career destinations. In that comparison, Spirit has some good areas, and needs to raise their expectations in others.
It's not to demean regional pilots, but simply to state that the average Spirit pilot has 1000's of hours of jet PIC, experience commanding a crew, and is otherwise more qualified than the average regional pilot. Nobody at Spirit has their application in at a regional, and there's a reason for that. We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than simply being 'better than a regional'.
Incidentally, gouge from the last interview (last week?) was that there were 14 guys there, and all the candidates were well-qualified. This came from a furloughed Captain from a cargo carrier. It's great to hear that we're hiring these furloughed guys (ATA, AStar, ABEX, USA3000, Midwest, United, etc.), who will make great additions to the Spirit pilot group as both aviators and professionals. As always, your qualifications are secondary to an internal recommendation. Good luck to all that are applying - we'll unfortunately take a pass on some great candidates.

I supported the response to that one (if I'm referring to the same post that you are), and will give those who are on the outside a look into what you're supposedly missing:

Ok, everything over on spiritpilotboard.net went well. I posted for assistance with my iPad and received several responses. Seems like there is lots of activity over there. Thanks for your help.

Spirit sure is opening up a lot of flying out of DFW. Any chance of a pilot domicile there soon?

Lemonade.
It's the constant Pro-Agaist political Rants, or just little stuff to get people upset and against each other. It totally doesn't matter whether it's anonymous or you use your name.
It just gets old, and boring. Personal problems, nothing else.
I removed the post because it really doesn't belong here.

I saw that too Sailor. There is definitely something wrong with that guy even if there might be some truth to what he says. He is clearly a very angry person. I just read through it quickly and moved on to the iPad stuff. ( which incidently started to get pretty wild also )
I wonder what the board looks like during elections and contract talks.
