Im just reporting what I saw. The problem is too much wealth in Gov't and corporations, but they are attacking only the banks and wallstreet. They need to be down in DC and get all the scumbag lawmakers out of office; who enable the 'banks/bailouts' to be possible. A true free market system has winners and losers, and the banks were losers but got bailed out, I agree with them on that.

Well stated. But ask yourselves this. Has a poor person ever offered you a job flying airplanes? I'm going with no myself. But I am in 100% agreement on the let the free market work. Banks got to do stupid crap and still win. Disgusting...

Kidding about the "bums"? Yes.

Just can't help but notice how an ALPA camera lens can make the most enviable professional look like a total douche bag. But you know about that from the 2010 strike stills.

Ram, i dont want to start anything here, but weren't we doing the same not to long ago?, for the same reasons?.

It is obvious that the writer is bias towards one side of the story.

Last thing I wanted to hear when I was on Strike was "go to work you lazy arrrse".

I just saying, are we too good to look down on our fellow comrades (JK) that are fighting for a better contract?

If we are so disgusted, we should be doing something else, because this union-company-picket-strike crap has been going on before we were born. And for the looks of it, its going to continue forever.

Just sharing a thought.

Please correct if i am totally missing the point.

Cheers.

You heard the BOD nixed ORD on Oct. 30, but hear the BOD is meeting on Nov. 1 to discuss new bases? I know, 'hear all, trust nothing'. Got it.

Who decides to fly for Spirit and live out west (who else would want a LAS base)? It's like an east coast guy working for Alaska. Great company, but the bases are all on the wrong coast.

I'm an ORD voter, obviously. Equally obviously, the BOD doesn't care what I think. If they think taking the fight to Southwest and Alaska out west is a better option than taking it to AA and United in ORD (and Southwest in MDW), than LAS it is. Southwest and Alaska seem to be in a much better position to defend their markets than AA ($ issues) and UA (distracted with the merger), though, and Southwest still fancies themselves as 'low cost' too.

I hope it is ORD because I like the Vegas flying and the layover.

There are a few of us who would take LAS, myself included. It is irrelivant if we want it as a group or not. If they decide it will save them money then they will open a base and staff it with new hires who don't have a choice. Personally, if I was a new hire and lived in the northeast and had a choice of LAS or ACY, LAS hands down.
