Im just reporting what I saw. The problem is too much wealth in Gov't and corporations, but they are attacking only the banks and wallstreet. They need to be down in DC and get all the scumbag lawmakers out of office; who enable the 'banks/bailouts' to be possible. A true free market system has winners and losers, and the banks were losers but got bailed out, I agree with them on that.

It is obvious that the writer is bias towards one side of the story.
Last thing I wanted to hear when I was on Strike was "go to work you lazy arrrse".
I just saying, are we too good to look down on our fellow comrades (JK) that are fighting for a better contract?
If we are so disgusted, we should be doing something else, because this union-company-picket-strike crap has been going on before we were born. And for the looks of it, its going to continue forever.
Just sharing a thought.
Please correct if i am totally missing the point.
Cheers.

Word is the BoD's are meeting today and tomorrow to try an figure out among other things where they want a new base. Hope it's Vegas!!!

Who decides to fly for Spirit and live out west (who else would want a LAS base)? It's like an east coast guy working for Alaska. Great company, but the bases are all on the wrong coast.
I'm an ORD voter, obviously. Equally obviously, the BOD doesn't care what I think. If they think taking the fight to Southwest and Alaska out west is a better option than taking it to AA and United in ORD (and Southwest in MDW), than LAS it is. Southwest and Alaska seem to be in a much better position to defend their markets than AA ($ issues) and UA (distracted with the merger), though, and Southwest still fancies themselves as 'low cost' too.

You heard the BOD nixed ORD on Oct. 30, but hear the BOD is meeting on Nov. 1 to discuss new bases? I know, 'hear all, trust nothing'. Got it.
