Actually I contacted the communications chair. Seems like a nice enough guy, that says he is interested in doing the right thing. He said the MEC didn't think that publishing the FPL was required and he wasn't going to pursue the issue any further. I sent him the reference from the ALPA Admin manual requireing that provisions for publishing the FPL be contained in the SPA policy manual (below). So far no response...
Admin Manual Section 60.M.2.a.4(c)(d)
Master Executive Council policies shall include the following:
(c) Provision for publishing MEC policy on flight pay loss/member compensation
and expenses on the MEC website
(d) Provision for making ALPA paid (directly or by reimbursement to the carrier)
flight pay loss/compensation received by members available to the MEC and
membership on at least a calendar quarterly basis.

Because, as I mentioned earlier, I bring it up, it always gets swept under the rug and forgotten. The MEC publishes a JRM log in an attempt to shame members into compliance, all the while THEY are not in compliance with ALPA policy. They post, I post. If they were in compliance, I wouldn't do it.
ATTENTION ALL SPA MEC APOLIGISTS: just ignore my posts, stick your heads back in the sand, and move on. Don't like the truth, don't read my posts.

The latest training schedule shows that all but two upgrades have been moved back til past next month. I don't know what it means, but I expect that they are so short of FO's they can't let them go. As usual, they expect to find some way to scare us into going along with whatever scheme they devise.
Sooner or later, we're going to get real junior assign around here. The screaming will be loud. But not as loud as the screaming about a select few making all the money. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Well, 605 still isn't registered, so don't look for it on a ramp near you anytime soon.
Beside that, don't forget, there are 6-8 clowns on perminant FPL that could be eventually used to fly airplanes. We would know how many for sure if they published the required FPL list- but this MEC would rather leave us in the dark, and remain in non-compliance with ALPA policy.
