Any chance someone could send me an ACY and FLL bid package? I'm close to being recalled and was curious about the lines. Thanks.

I'm sorry about the furlough news dudeskibro. I figured in the current environment of NOIs, pilots getting fired, and contentious labor relations, I deleted the post because I felt it may have been inappropriate. However, I'm glad it made you laugh because it was only intended as humor loaded with my usual dose of heavy sarcasm.
We all have a passion for this bidness. I can still remember walking through the terminal when I was five years old looking at these dudes with absolute babes hanging off their arms. They were a Braniff 747 crew and right then I knew that is what I wanted to do for a career. (although nowadays we have flight attendants that can get pilots pregnant!!)
I will go out on a limb and say that it would be "refreshing" to work for folks that share the same "passion" that us aviators have. To a lot of them, this is just numbers and business to please some investors. Rarely do these folks put a FACE and a FAMILY in the picture.
That's the difference between what could be a great career, and what it has become. We need more "passion" and "leaders" in this industry. We need more people that take a vested interest in their PEOPLE, and not just their balance sheet.
At the end of the day, just remember that this is only a job, or at least, that is what it has become. Family and your own happiness is MOST important. You can always get another job, but you got only ONE chance at being a good husband, a good father, etc.
Okay then...that's enough Bill Cosby for one post!
