Thanks
I'm of the understanding that of the 6 interviewed a few weeks ago (the only known interviews to have taken place), 5 were offered employment. Judging from captscott's post, it sounds like they've got another round of interviews coming up.

Spirit computers crash on busy day | freep.com | Detroit Free Press

I just saw that your computers went down today on one of the busiest days of the year. Does that mean there will be a control alt delete sale in the future?

Happens, at a previous more "professional" airline I worked for, we had our computer system go down on the day before Thanksgiving for 5 hours. Not a single release could be printed.

Pinn I think you should work in marketing

Spirit intentionally does this to attract the masses and get free publicity. (Now you know the rest of the story, good day!)

Default Another major win!

MEC Blocks 'excessive' move-up pay. The MEC successfully reached in and emptied our wallets AGAIN!. Jokes on us, WE are paying to get robbed. I never thought ALPA would do more to reduce my W2 than the company.

HEY JBLU guys, you want to pay 2%/yr for this 'service'?

B6 may organize, is ALPO the only option?

It's not ALPA reducing our W2's. It is US, our own reps who are reducing our W2's. The MEC has succeeded in shutting down premium pay for the average pilot, and in doing so appears to have enabled massive amounts of premium pay for a small group who have the ability to accept a charter lifestyle. I'm happy that the "charter" guys are making money, but I'm more than a bit peeved that my own union prevents me from making an honest day of 150% pay.

realistically , yes ALPA is the only option. And that's not all bad because the elected pilot representatives will determine the course not ALPA National.

Vote wisely!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the phone. Where did you get this info? I didn't get an email from the union about anything. Source?
