Taylor, thx for the hopes!!
Look, I am Not going to get in a ******* contest with you, after all we probably know each other, will or did fly together "same team".
I say, let us leave this thread until it gets cold for awhile.
Peace.

There has been a rumor floating recently regarding Tiger Airways sending us back some A319s. I am hoping like anyone else it's true but this time I went right to the source. Looks like our A319s never went to them. I emailed directly a couple of pilots from Tiger Airways to verify this. Here are a couple of their answers (I am still expecting more replies):
reply# 1) At the moment we have only two A319s with Tiger Airways, both based in Singapore and both recently arrived fresh from the factory. We had nine A320s, one of which has left for Tiger Australia, and one is being returned to the leasing company leaving us with seven A320s and two A319s for the Singapore operation. I haven't heard of any other aircraft being returned.
reply # 2) There are only two 319s in our fleet and as far as I know, Tiger Airways have no intention to add anymore 319s. The rest being 320s and two of them will be returning to the leasing company in the next few months. You can rest assured that our 319s are brand new-straight out from Hamburg and I personally ferried the second one, therefore, I have no clue as in how the idea of four 319s were seconded to us.
I am digging to know where this (these) A320(s) are going.

Folks...enough of speculating...
Here is where all of our aircraft went....
Spirit Airlines Fleet of A319 (History) - Airfleets
2 to Mandala (Indonesia) - an Indigo company
3 to Wind Jet (Italy)
1 to TAME (Equador)
1 to Cyprus Airways

How about some good news on this Friday...
Our MEC released the "official" 5/4 Day Off Arbitration ruling via PDF to our emails. Although it is a "cease and desist" order, the arbitrator makes it clear that there will be financial penalties if the company tries these shananigans again...
I found it interesting that the arbitrator kinda "lectured" the company and the union in his ruling about the pitfalls of having vague language in a contract. He leaves you the impression that this whole arbitration should have never happened IF we had stronger, clearer, precise contractual language. Lesson learned maybe??
So, let's grab our mini cans of Pringles and ramen noodle soups and be thankful for a small, but important victory at Espirito Wing!

We all want that but if/when it does happen, it won't be in the near future. So accept that you're furloughed, there is nothing you can do about it. If thats all you think of everyday you're going to drive yourself nuts.....along with the rest of us.
BTW is this your first airline?

I understand what you are saying.
And not it isn't my first airline or first furlough. After a while, it seems that we all try to escape IT, but one way or the other IT caches up with us, a few times on our lives.
(furloughs, long upgrades, bad pay, Superman CA's, Superman FO's,etc), the only thing IT can't take away, is optimisim.
