Most Benevolent and Glorious Leader Chairman Ackerman knows what is best for all: Throw out the CBA work rules for the benefit of the company, but don't ask for any compensation outside of the CBA for bailing out management's incompetence on the backs of the pilots.
At the end of this, the upper-level managers still be millionaires and we will still be some of the lowest-paid Airbus pilots in the USA.

Why is ALPA not out there rebutting these claims by point the finger in the right direction. Pilots just sold out to get flights off the ground yet we're taking the PR blame, and they're still not flying!
My phone hasn't rang for the last 5 days. I am still very junior so I expected several JA calls that never happened. I don't get it.

Instead, your MEC should be meeting to make sure the press gets it correct as to what's going on at Spirit, and like some other posters have said, all the extra flying done at 200% (like most every other airline) and get your negotiations back on fast track.
Blaming ALPA national for your situation is not really relevant.
BTW, ALPA national hasn't sent one piece of info for/against Delta TA, only DALPA MEC. That's the way it works.

ALPA national is not there to defend your MEC's actions (which from the outside looks pretty undefendable anyway) and/or your corporates PR blunders and/or random press speculation as to why the Spirit "ULCC" model is failing under a summer stress test.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. We have some very narrow minded morons here at Spirit. Thank you for breaking it down for them.
Anyone else moving back words when call scheduling? I thought they brought in extra help to man the phones.
Holy guacamole with a tub of macaroni, I spend the day at the lake and all hell has broken loose! What in h3ll is up with the union granting relief? I know I'm late to the party, but why are we caving on the cba? We better get some sort of bumper contract out of this but I'm not holding my breath. And for the record, my phone hasn't rung either.
