Correct, sort of, more like 20 hours, but how are you going to do that with this POS LOA? For the record, this should have been part of section 6 negotiations, givebacks already?

Me neither. Not even close. I have always had to bid for **** I had to do on recurrent months tho

I voted NO on the distance learning, but playing devils advocate...company is putting a sim in every base and groundschool in every base so any lengthy conflict would be gone anyway, no more 5 day pairings for 3 days of RGS.

I totally agree we should not have given these up, but they simply will no longer exsist because you are in base for training.

So are you saying this "deal" was available to every pilot every month they had recurrent? Or was it just available to...say...a few "special" individuals?

Ding ding ding! Spot on! Being FLL base, I never saw any special "deals"

I agree training used to be my best month, I still can't believe that it passed, I never managed to get as high as 40 but even the 10 I could get is better than what I will get now. But unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this now, but I will vote no on anything that has concessions in any area.

Every training month I got around 150 hours of pay and flew around 60 hours. I never had to try and this was the easiest money I ever made here. I guess this is now gone and don't want to give more of our work rules up.

Typical union dribble, I got no deals, just bid smart, used the contract for conflicts, made big money only 1 month out of the year. I guess if I could get special deals I would have done it every month, not just PC. If you cannot interpret the contract to make serious cash in your PC month, then nothing I say would make sense to you.

I didn't see this posting at first. I am actually outraged by the remark. No deals on my part as well. Just picked up the contract, read it carefully, then spent a few hours looking over the bid packet and bid accordingly. Folks, we have to use the language in the contract to our full advantage. This name calling on "special deals" is an insult. Don't give away work rules because some people are too lazy to spend some time to bid correctly.
