Spirit of NKS
^^^^^^^
This! I could care less about crew meals, we don't fly long enough legs for it to be a problem. But, there's only so many times we can say "more pay, keep our quality of life, scope, etc.' when talking about nks. Food gives us something else to gripe about. I wanna know the important stuff, when are we getting a contract, when will we merge with frontier, when can I start bidding DEN, why is BB selling his house, when will we fly into CLT, you know the important stuff.

Vote no and keep voting no until we get industry standard. Why would we agree to fly A320 aircraft for far less than other airlines represented by ALPA.
As far as I'm concerned; ALPA should have this policy. If you fly an A320 then this is your pay scale period. If you fly a B757 then this is your pay scale period. I will look at Delta and United's ALPA negotiated pay when I vote.

Thats how we got the "crumb duster" because retards kept bickering how dirty the flight deck was. Ill never forget one conference call when a dude took 6 mins ranting about one of his flight not being catered. We got bigger fish to fry and plenty of questions to ask management. At the end , we got the crum buster.

Seems pretty simple: a non industry-standard TA gets a NO vote from me. It seems like that's the consensus around here anyway, the real retards are the window lickers who come on here with their pitchforks out and their hair on fire any time somebody mentions something other than PAY, BENEFITS, SCOPE!
PAY, BENEFITS, SCOPE are going to happen, otherwise a TA won't be ratified. Some of these guys foam at the mouth like a dog who bit a frog, but I think most everybody is on board with the big picture and it's perfectly fine to have some banter about the small stuff.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe those pitch fork wielding pilots have been burned in the past? Personally, I've been through unnecessary pay concessions, theft of flight benefits, and concessions to scope, so yeah, I'm a little sensitive to that stuff too.
Don't forget about policing guard. I think if we work hard we can make sure every post here on Delta Pilot Central is about the delta TA.
If we can secure an industry leading contract from ALPA, then Spirit would be "The talk of the town". ALPA should pitch to management all the free press we would get if we did get an industry leading contract.
