You do the math.

Yeah the math is spot on, the only think I can think of would the final indicator is is when they go public... Franke is going to get all of his money back plus.... I have heard the debt is gone if not almost gone, but who knows since they are not public right now.... Nk, and F9 need the "too big to fail" status like the other legacy shiit bags do, best way to to make it happen buy a ton of planes and merge them...

Us & Frontier combined will still be small enough too fail.

They have a bunch of senior F/Os and a pretty poor contract, I hope this is at least 2-3 years away........

At least until the next decade. At least.

I hope 30 years away. This would be great for the pilots who commute from Denver.

I commute from Denver and I'd rather continue to do so than get screwed in a merger. Oh well, I doubt they'll ask my opinion on the matter so I'm not gonna stress too much. My luck, they'd pull out of Denver all together AND push my upgrade back 12 years

Seniority details notwithstanding, any merger announcement would be a nail in the coffin for a new contract. It wouldn't matter how much had already been accomplished or how close to a TA we were, it all would be scrapped. Now you get to start completely over on a Joint CBA with the other pilot group.
