The whole ORD system is a complete joke the way we operate right now. If there is a cloud over Guam every single flight that goes in and out of there has a 45 min hold for a gate. The whole L concourse becomes a fire hazard with all of our passengers crammed down there at the end with every flight that gets delayed. Embarrassing.
That's what you get for $78 each way to Tampa.
Most probably spent more on their airport parking.

How so? The new regime is FLL and LAS. If you didn't read between the lines two weeks ago, Council 18 reps were the supporters of the old regime. Now then, Council 18 holds two thirds of the MEC officer positions. With this "cave", FLL and LAS have undermined themselves by taking the victory handed them by their council members and have turned it into defeat.
The FLL and LAS reps are acting like Republicans when they need to act like Democrats. Republicans win and share power, which leads to Democratic victories. Democrats win and consolidate power, which leads to long runs controlling both houses of Congress.
Think about this, the FLL reps were elected to dump the old regime, specifically the Negotiators. They now possibly face recalls due to this "cave". The only way to save the revolution is for them to remove the Negotiators.
It won't happen. The FLL group will fracture, which will lead to more fractures and pretty soon we'll be signing another concessionary contract. (If you think C2010 was not concessionary you probably don't understand simple math)
In the mean time, DFW is growing restless. All DFW has for representation is the Scheduling Chair. Which is nice.

Enough with the constant politicking. Much of the reason I enjoy being a pilot is I don't have to deal with office politics. Wait for a TA. If that TA takes to long, punch out. If the TA is unsatisfactory then vote no. I have faith that most of our pilot group knows what the market rate is for airbus pilots is in 2015. If it gets ratified and you still think it's unsatisfactory, punch out. If we as a whole think it's unsatisfactory then it won't be ratified and then we can either wait or request our reps implement new negotiators.
As of now we have seen nothing but emails from the NC that clearly show they know what the market is for airbus pilots today. Calling for heads to roll based on something that happened five years ago is just silly. Not all of the NC is the same guys. Give it a rest and start speaking with a unified voice or get out of the way.
To add: all this drama over who the MEC officers are is just stupid. They don't vote and are just a mouthpiece. I really couldn't care less who they are or what "regime" is in place. They are about as important as a talking head on a 24hr news station. They just relay messages. We need to focus voting yes or no to a new contract and speak with a unified voice. This playground BS needs to stop.
Say what???

Has anyone noticed the JUN lines are all screwed up? The pairing numbers in the lines don't match up with the trip pairings in the back? The start and finish times aren't the same. Neither are the overnights. How are we supposed to tell where we are going?
Right Nancy Pelosi??

I suggest we support our reps and the MEC.
