DING..... DING .....DING...we have a winner... Chris thought he was god, just ask him he would have no problem telling you that he was better than you because he was at the top of the food chain. At least, for now, we have some guy showing signs of leadership and humility

The problem here, and also at brand X - Y and Z regionals where most of us came from, is that ALPA does a terrible job of educating its members about our union.

All too many pilots have no idea of the true functional structure of the association.

Master Executive Council Chairmen, exemplified by Chris, pose as god because the members don't know any better.

Have all previous MEC Chairs acted as dictators?

Will James Ackerman act as a dictator? He damn well better not!

Drastically reduced relief lines in MAY systemwide, resulted in a plethora of open time, and more red days.
CP/CS trying new strategies.

The company directly controls open time.

They also directly control how open time is processed. The fact that everything freezes so float vacation can be manually processed and the lack of computing power to handle the amount of pilots we have is ridiculous

We're not gonna have another round of whining about open time, people picking time up out of base, people are autobidding with super Cray computers again are we?

Do we have a discount code for Verizon/AT&T/Sprint? If so where would I locate it. Thanks.

Oh Lord, don't start that again as I could give 2 flying fooks about dal. Except of course to say, seeing their rates, or close to their rates, on our contract is where we need to be.

I should've included in my first post a disclaimer to help all of those with inferiority/superiority complexes. Rookie move.....

So here it is......This is strictly about O-U-R negotiations and thats it.

Cheers
