Here's the latest...
From Jeff S. today in recurrent. Four recalls will be in training in Feb for March 1st. Another 12 recalls will be in class in March for April 1st. A total of 26 recalls for the entire year is what he has been told to plan for. Still 4 320's, March, April, May, September. A couple new destinations down south middle of next year. New COO and VP Flt Ops have started, MA back in safety dept. No plans at all that he knows of to get rid of aircraft next year, but the first 320 will mostly allow a spare aircraft in the system. Thats pretty much it, I will post more if I hear anything.

With the February recall not happening, I am wondering now if March will ever happen or if the numbers (12) will change.

BuBi, you probably heard it all, be patient, hang in there, just a few more months, rumors about this and that!!!
Last month ALPA and NK had another meeting, according to our reps things are more on the bright side than dark. We will see...
They are meeting again at the end of JAN.
FEB-MAR-APR are going to be very changing months for NK drivers and Mgmt. I just hope for the best of both. There is nothing most that I want than seeing this Co get off the mud pit.
There are countless rumors and speculations floating around. The truth is exactly what you know, NOTHING.
Only NK Mgmt. knows when the new AC's will be online, which one will be the spare, and when and how many pilots will be recalled.
Until then, all you can do is, look at the slow pace of things here or try to stay busy with something else. I know, I know!!
Also make sure HR has your correct contact info.
There is nothing I can say to make you feel better, just stay busy with whatever you can. Try to stay in touch with you furlough ALPA rep. And take what you learn here with a grain of salt.
Cheers

Fort Lauderdale.... we aren't putting a plane up in Atlantic City yet, the casinos seem to prefer 30 - 50 seat aircraft instead of the 19 seaters.
Is Spirit still the only game in town there?

I heard Grazel paid a visit to recurrent yesterday and it was worth buying tickets to watch when a certain union rep decided to chime in...I guess the word "productivity" was brought up by "Mother Goose" to the class and that's when the ACARS "OUT" time started...
