Check out this hospital...

A whole different world.

Its like the Mayo Clinic but you don't get a $ 100,000 bill when you check out. But....you do have to pay when you leave.

As much as I hate to interrupt the healthcare debate...........
The MEC meets tomorrow. It is well known that the MEC Chair and Negotiators have been openly defiant of our 109 reps.

Will tap other reps join with FLL and vote to change the MEC and Negotiation Chairmen?

Back to our regularly scheduled debate about more essential BS.

Yeah how the heck did this drift to stupid healthcare? I'm guilty but let's get back to serious talk. There's the meeting tomorrow and we need stiff backs in the negotiations. Not happy about this stupid open time resolution and I dont want any concessions.

"Stiff backs"? Are you making an attempt at sarcasm?

The Negotiating committee, and one must assume the MEC as well, has already conceded everything but pay and investments. Think about that. The negotiators public position is that even though the negotiation environment is " the best it could be", they have no intention of even attempting to achieve gains in any area other than hourly rates.

Looks to me like our backs are limp. Does anyone have any Viagra for the spine?

Sarcasm yes. Our limp MEC will fold like a lawnchair, we will get a 20% increase in pay and give up a few items. We ain't gonna get any improvement to 401k, scope, insurance or anything else. In fact, id be surprised if we dont start hearing of how great pbs is in the near future.

20% ain't gonna cut it! Is that what people think we are getting? I won't even look at less than 30 percent with significant gains elsewhere. At least in the lower end of the payscale

Overtake, I agree. For a 3rd year FO, it would take a 27% pay increase just to get to parity with Jetblue. And we have the highest profit margins in the industry so I don't believe it's unachievable.

Off subject.

Could someone please PM me and tell me how I am supposed to list for an American Airlines jump seat? ALPA says I have to list online. I can't find any info on the AA website on how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
