Not even counting conflicts for travel, at a minimum every pilot on 12-13 days off must have training put on their working days so they don't go below min days off. This requires the company to staff a certain number of extra pilots to cover those in training. Those extra pilots boost your relative seniority which controls when you can hold a domicile or upgrade. The company will no longer be required to staff those extra pilots if everyone including those with 12-13 day off lines now trains on days off.

And how is this ta that you and others want to vote yes for, that gives great efficiencies to the company for very little in return, going to help you acquire the desires stated above?

I hope our pilot group isn't really this spineless! Come on people!

I don't know if no or yes will send any message at all, as you well know the Barbie toughbook is coming.
About voting anything IN that our union presents, I don't believe that's true either, we talk of our company's scare tactics but we also spread a good amount of BS ourselves.

Hiring and upgrades will continue as long as we keep getting ACs..the difference between pre/after DL amount of upgrades and hiring it's probably very small.

Btw, I voted no, for my own personal reasons.

My last company everything was MEL'd with stickers every where. At Spirit most of the time nothing is MEL'd. The best maintenance I have ever had in aviation.

Nothing like accurate reporting from a local news affiliate.

All news these days is crap, Brian Wilson will probably claim to have been on that Spirit flight.

"Health and cleanliness concerns were also noted. After a September 2014 complaint, inspectors found rats in one aircraft cabin, according to FAA documents."

Awesome.

Imagine if word got out about the FA's new study room

Hard to imagine the FAA would approve anything like this for any recurrent training or training if any kind. Must be for something else.

Are we even a real professional airline?
