Default Non rev with pet

Hey all,

I am helping a friend relocate a cat and am curious if I use a ZED fare (not jumpseat), does the cat fly with me free or will they charge the pet in cabin fee?

Thank you!

Just slap a service cat vest on it, let it roam the cabin, and tell everybody to F' off. /s

I don’t believe Spirit has any flights to/from Springfield, OH.

If you are a Spirit pilot (or any team member with travel benefits), the cat flies free with you or your dependents. If you give your friend a buddy pass, s/he will have to pay the pet fee.

If you are OAL flying ZED on Spirit, you will pay the pet fee.

Now back to your regularly scheduled sarcasm....

rumor is there’s a pilot that transports his beta fish on board every time he moves in a Tupperware container. I don’t think he’s had any issue.

Some FAs think they can bring their pets to work with them. It was a funny conversation when I had her put it in the crew room for the turn. Her supervisor, whom she chose to speak to against our recommendation, wasn’t amused.
