Anything announced after market close on a Friday is bad…not that you need to know that to know that borrowing more money when we can’t pay our current debt is a bad thing.

The current administration did not contest the Alaska/Hawaiian merger and ours was and then given kiss of death by a regan appointed judge. I don’t know what to think

The judge might have simply felt obligated to apply the law literally as written. That's what they're supposed to do, regardless of who appointed them.

He's not the one who filed the lawsuit, K&K did that. I'm pretty sure they got told to stand down on the AS/HA merger, otherwise they would have sued to block that one too.

I think this is good news. Or at least - not as anywhere near as bad as bankruptcy news.

I don't think Spirit can just keep kicking the can down the road as they wish. The creditors must have agreed for the extension for a reason.

Do they see a future forward? working out the details of bankrupcy? waiting for election? talks of a new player coming in?

Spirit management must have presented them with something and decided 2 more months was needed to determine the outcome. Interesting...
