I don’t think anybody at NK has the energy for that right now. This thread is now mostly legacy pilots telling NK pilots what’s going to happen to us.

Or maybe legacy pilots who have lived through it before sharing their observations?

I see this thread as mostly people just guessing at various outcomes.

If there's one thing pilots love doing, it's pretending to be an authoritive figure on a given subject.

I guess things can’t be that bad if we are now activating the enroute part of our CPDLC. And spending money to pay pilots for the online training.

That’s it then!!! merger confirmed and chapt. 11 debunked!!

Not to mention a new app on our iPads that other airlines use and charges by the amount of data used, so the company wants us to limit the range...

So the fate of Spirit gets decided by this weekend? Either refianance the maturing debts or file bankrupcy?

I can't imagine the debt holders wanting to deal with bankrupcy. I really hope a deal is reached and my good friends at Spirit are kept safe from additional furloughs

I can’t imagine the debt holders want to take a greater loss in bankruptcy. I suspect the hold up is they want to see a viable plan moving forward, if they are to refinance the debt. If they can’t see a path forward to profitability, they might just take the loss earlier on as opposed to down the road.

I heard the deadline was extended another 2 weeks. Seems like a good thing. Looking for alternatives outside CH 11?
