haha as if Spirit's management are the only ones to deal with those issues. Jumping head first into MIA and doubling MCO with all of that information, bailing on multiple proven markets and uprooting employees in ord dfw and dtw in the process, making the company worse-off.
If there is anything this management team is good at, it's underperforming their own forecasts and going on these quarterly calls dealing out excuses. It's always someone else's fault.

Stop cherry-picking the issue. Circling back, this company was deeply in the red well before the powdered metal issue went from 200 motors to the information that all motors built was even a known. Selling the 319s looks super stupid at this point, as well. Spirit did not have powdered metal issues in q2 2022, yet AAL (who has significant florida operations) pumped a profit, while spirit lost 5%. And it got no better from there.
Face it. This management team got its lunch eaten by competitors. They suck. They are not disruptors. BB was a disruptor. This team never stops looking like they are in over their heads.

what issues does Spirit have?
The civil unrest in Haiti? Who’s fault is that?
Jacksonville center understaffed? Who’s fault is that?
failed merger? blame Biden administration, blame that Reagan appointed judge, blame the shareholders for accepting the deal.
Summer melt down?…maybe…but they actually have done leaps and bounds with their automated Crew Scheduling to help with that. (and I can’t think of the last time we had a huge huge meltdown.)
you guys know I’m not a company cheerleader by any means. And I know you are all mad because some of us are gonna have to down grade, be displaced, furloughed, but let’s be fair here!

70 airplanes being out of service. We all know how this plays out. One Friday morning we wake up to Chapter 11 press release.
I’m sure you have seen the excel snapshot detailing the new fare structure. I can’t wait to see the bungled implementation of this plan to become an LCC airline. I don’t think they can command the price needed to offset the expected loss of ancillary revenue. Our ticket prices are going to need to increase tremendously.
ALPA saw some of the financial data recently and concluded the outlook is grim. I doubt they manage any positive cash flow this year.

I do find it rich however that this administration directed the doj to block the B6 merger because NKs business model is somehow essetial to protect a particular economic class, then immediatly begins making said business model illegal.
I agree with TC that the business is rigged and the government is... less than intelligent.

Before covid was five years ago. Covid came to public light in 2019. Or are you too stupid to quantify time? Spirit had a significant presence outside of florida, and this management reduced those cities, or is your geriatric brain too far gone to remember?
Ya know what? Youre right. This management team has been super nimble and effective. This debt issue is just tough luck.

To be real honest, pax don't want the crappy style seating nor the minimalist cheap style. The market now is premium products and that is what data shows. While the business model we have did work, it just doesn't work now. You can't raise prices now that is comparable to other carriers. We might fill our seats at the end of the day but we not charging what we should, broken revenue. We will see the "plan" forward but I think NK business model gotta go or offer something that consumers crave, right now that is free checked bags, conveniency, growing network, premium prouducts. Hence, te big four doing fairly well. Not too sure what TC and Bendo is doing outside of upcoming plans that we never hear about and long emails that says nothing.
