Ceo can do it. Jetblue runs 321Ceos between Boston and LA, but they also have lower desity and less payload. But the Ceo can do transcons with minimal issue. In the winter with an alternate it might be kinda tight.

I flew a lot of older 320 ceos at Allegiant and we did a lot of transcon charters. Even the newer Sharklet 320s were pushing fuel with an alternate.

Looks like the plan going forward involves senior management running for new employers.
CFO leaving in the middle of a financial crisis. The question remains...was he kindly asked to find a new employer, or does he realize how badly he helped screw this company over and is running for the hills?
Good luck, Hertz employees.

The only reason Spirit is in a tough spot is because we have a ton of planes down because of our powdered metal issue that nobody could’ve predicted.
and that issue is about to get a lot worse through next year. you can’t make a profit if a quarter of your fleet is down.

so you’re blaming our CFO on our engine issues???

So yeah, i hold senior management 100% at fault for not making money, and certainly the cfo is a big player in Spirit's failures.

The civil unrest in Haiti? Who’s fault is that?
Jacksonville center understaffed? Who’s fault is that?
failed merger? blame Biden administration, blame that Reagan appointed judge, blame the shareholders for accepting the deal.
Summer melt down?…maybe…but they actually have done leaps and bounds with their automated Crew Scheduling to help with that. (and I can’t think of the last time we had a huge huge meltdown.)
you guys know I’m not a company cheerleader by any means. And I know you are all mad because some of us are gonna have to down grade, be displaced, furloughed, but let’s be fair here!

haha as if Spirit's management are the only ones to deal with those issues. Jumping head first into MIA and doubling MCO with all of that information, bailing on multiple proven markets and uprooting employees in ord dfw and dtw in the process, making the company worse-off.
If there is anything this management team is good at, it's underperforming their own forecasts and going on these quarterly calls dealing out excuses. It's always someone else's fault.
