So you're saying we'll actually have more total planes available to fly next year than this year?

As of the last quarterly call you have 205 with ~ 180 flying. By years end 2024 you should have 215 with ~ 175 flying. By years end 2025 you should have 219 with ~ 149 flying.

Im getting this off of the quarterly call and earnings report where it was described about 25 down now, 40 down at years end, and 70 down next year.

I know the situation is very fluid with the Pratts and subject to change quickly. Feel free to correct my numbers if somebody else has something more accurate.

Ok. Not ideal. In terms of number of planes flying that's roughly 30 less than right now. Maybe PW will imrpive their parts availability and maybe we can maximize our utilization.

The point is moot anyway. We lose less money on the planes that are parked than the planes flying. Read that again. We do not make money on the planes we have flying!

Having more unprofitable planes flying doesn’t do us any good which is why Spirit deferred orders for two years. Spirit does not want this Pratt issue solved quickly. Any plane that is fixed and put back in service is another money loser. Spirit is bankrupt because of spirit not bc of Pratt

The planes flying make money, enough to cover their own expenses.

PW covers the cost of the parked planes but not lost revenue.

The problem NK is suffering from, is having the staff and facilities for 250 airplanes, and only 180 airplanes actually generating revenue. We are over staffed on crews, middle management and a useless hotel type building and empty sim bay.

Just running the AC alone is killing them.
