JetBlue merger

He may be 200 years old but he's still Chairman over there.
Indigo is a fate worse than Mesa and what an unfortunate education our bright eyed group would learn at F9. Good for me personally, as I have big ideas regarding cross utilization. After all, no reason pilots should be sipping coffee with perfectly good bags to be thrown and pilfered. Assistant to the VP of Inclusive Cross Utilization would be my career goal. Then I'd teach at Riddle.

or big chance it gets pushed back further into December? then, if that’s the case doesn’t that void the merger? because we have a time limit of before the end of the year.

For anyone interested in more Merger talk here is a great 1 hour podcast with a former litigator discussing the case:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI6CzBXFsUo
https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/s...49ck/a-aaec5g4
They go over pretty much every facet you can think of in the trial:
- The Judge & the fact that there is no jury (+ with him being semi retired, and choosing to take this)
- The "leaked" documents addressing a price hike
- The Stock Prices
- Spirits past statements about JetBlue purchasing spirit will violate antitrust (with the NEA)
- Divestures
- The JetBlue Effect statements during the NEA case, and how its not a slam dunk for JB in this case
& more

Nothing much new for us on the inside, but it’s nice to see those on the outside see how weak the DOJs case is. Weak as it may be though, their comments on the judge gave me some concern, as did the transfer of certificate debacle that could ensue if the DOT gets involved…..

I actually watched that today too! It was interesting to hear them talk about it in such detail. If I am being honest, all the points they went over more or less gave me confidence that the deal will in fact go through.
