Default Interviews with ATP Written Only?

I received an email from a recruiter saying to reach out when I have the CTP and written complete - does anyone know if they are actually giving interviews to non-ATP's outside of their programs yet? Before I drop the $4k, figured I'd ask!

I don’t fly for NK, but a 135 and they invited me to the F2F interview next month at HQ with just my ATP written done. SO, yes, I’d say that’s totally acceptable.

Things are changing daily so until someone comes in and says they were hired on X date with no written or no atp and the written done outside the programs idk if I’d trust any of that. What I have heard is plenty of people going to a meet the chiefs and getting and offer contingent on them getting an atp. Meaning they have to go do the checkride elsewhere then they can get a class date.

FWIW there was a person in my class who didn't have an ATP. Uncommon? …maybe. Impossible? Nope.

Thanks! I wonder if they had anything else like 135 time that helped out...may pull the trigger as my regional class date is still months away.

What do you have to lose?

They have had several people who got to the checkride and didn’t qualify. They were let go on the spot. There’s no hand holding or checking if you qualify. Lots of paper work falling through the cracks only to be discovered at the checkride.

Just paying for CTP that a regional will cover and some more multi time, but the upside seems worth it.

Why do you need more multi time? You dont need multi time for an ATP CTP

If this is your first airline, and youre a low time 1500 guy, go to a regional. Run to a regional. You will make more money and the training will be much more tailored to guys with limited experience, like yourself. I don't know why you are flying now, but if its a piston and you spend most time flying around a practice area (MEI instructor in your profile), the Spirit cost cutting Airbus type rating course isnt something I would suggest as you first foray into 121.
