The 69% sure showed management this group means business! The orange lanyard has management shaking in their salvatore ferragamo loafers!

Spin it how you want. Management sees our pilots walking around without the lanyard when they know the MEC has explicitly told everyone to wear it shows them you don’t care. You’re apathetic. Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here by not wearing it.

How is that naive? Again, what does it say to management when MEC leadership asks you to do
something as simple as wearing a friggin lanyard as a symbol of solidarity…and you don’t do it. It says to me that you either don’t give a crap, or you’re union is fractured, both of which are things I love if I’m senior management here. So again, I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove by not wearing something as simple as a lanyard other than trying to show you’re a tough guy, one of the 31% protesting, which is totally counterproductive.

It isn’t naive. Plenty of evidence management cares about pilots showing unity. I’m definitely not a union cheerleader, don’t think they do nearly enough for the money I pay. But if I didn’t pay that money, I would be getting Ryanair pay, so about 50% less. Complain about people who show unity, and complain about the majority winning the vote… What does that make you?

(sorry, but consider spell check: …, You, every … cheer leaders, whats, pants(?), every negotiations.)

Wow, so much for unity when these guys keep winning every negotiation. We surely got them last time and this round. So answer me this, Lets say we go for negotiations and wear a red lanyard , 70% vote yes for another below industry pay, what have we accomplished? 31% actually gives a flying phuk FYI. Fool me once, shame on you....figure the rest. Done with this NK unity crap, good thing we won't have this problem once b6 gets approved ( i hope).
