a No voter still complaining…

this dude doesn’t doesn’t understand that the final whack is when we merger with JetBlue. (Yes, it will most likely happen despite what Mayor buttigeig thinks) Probably the same guy that hasn’t read the union emails explaining everything. Probably the same guy that think Spirit could seriously pay us those rates as we are today.

By the time American actually has that contract signed and those pay rates in hand, we’ll already be almost back into negotiations, with or without the merger. Emails to the pilot group circumventing the union are less than worthless.

Yup, because AA management wants to pay them Delta rates and there isnt any concessions wanted in return for these rates, right? Are you that naive to think there are "asks" by management for the rates? You realize a contract is more than rates? Oh wait, I know; "Spirit work rules are nothing special, its the same as the Legacy carriers"

Ever stop to wonder why the APA negotiating committee hasn't signed off on these rates? You think AA management is sitting there with DAL rates and saying "Please sign this," without big asks in other areas?

This is union busting 101 by management. And good for APA to respond with a strike vote.

It’s cute that the union and management were able to Kaiser Soze you into thinking they cannot afford to pay us more. I suppose if oil went up by 30% tomorrow NK would just stop flying planes because they couldn’t afford the fuel?
