I would argue it’s very different. In one scenario, a 27% pay raise with no concessions was offered. While it could have been better, nobody lost anything other than potential future leverage by voting yes.
In this scenario, we’re talking about taking away things that those “yes” voters like. That’s a lot different.

No one would stay for DTZ. In all fairness, everyone that moves onto a legacy says that schedule flexibility is what they miss the most. It’s just not enough to keep them from going to a legacy. Do you blame them?

I think the point you’re attempting to make is that DTZ only benefits a small percentage of pilots which is simply not true. I’ve explained it in more detail in previous posts but DTZ benefits all line holders by “priming” the DOT pump resulting in a large open time pot that is simply not attainable with a more restrictive drop system. Once again, the grid is what costs $$$. DTZ is simply a tool that maximizes the use of our grid system here at NK. Even if you rarely drop below guarantee (most including myself rarely finish the month below guarantee) this system benefits all line holders.
Ok, say I like to bid reserve. How does DTZ benefit me?

How many people are you polling for this? At what longevity did they leave/are they at now? I’ve really never heard this complaint after a short time (previously a couple years, now, maybe 6 months).
