Default Phone interview without ATP

Got invited to do a phone interview. 1600 TT 260 MEL. Has Spirit begun hiring without ATP's?

Most I’ve heard is they’ll offer you a cjo and tell you to get your atp before giving you a class date.

Just to be clear, are you referring to getting the ATP written done or written + checkride?

Atp cert not just the written. I haven’t heard of anyone (outside of the partnerships they have with a few flight schools) of anyone showing up to day one without an atp cert. They have been interviewing without it though even handing out a cjo but won’t give you a class date till you have the cert in hand. Even at mtc events.

Think about it why would they even have or need those partnerships if they just let anyone without an atp cert show up.

Non ATP in class right now with Spirit. There were two of us in the class. From what I’ve heard there are others in the neighboring classes. Both of us are over 2,500 TT though.

With north of 2500 hours they knew the ATP wasn’t necessary. You’ve already peaked.
