Default 319s going away

Word is that the 319s are being taken off the cert, not parked but being sold

that’s too bad. I know they are “clapped out” as some people put it…but they were pretty sporty and fun to fly.

If you can't staff the entire fleet, might as well fly the biggest most efficient variants you've got? I assume that's the reason.

You must be unfamiliar with F9s business plan

Ah in that case…we retired our last 319s this year and of the 226 orders we have 175 are 321s. There’s also the issue of our “ownership” of aircraft. Frontier doesn’t actually own any of their own aircraft and don’t forsee that happening tomorrow. Then of course there’s the whole newest/greenest fleet in America yada yada they keep pushing. Then staffing. We are technically fully staffed at the pilot position but just barely. The rest of the op could always use more people. All in all, unlikely F9 gets em.

Better to park the ones that don’t have payments.
