The only reason to vote yes is fear. Fear is a very powerful motivator. The NC is going hard at that angle. In a way I get it. Vote yes and take the sure thing. Yes voters are simply concerned that management will just dig their heels in. It’s a valid concern but is completely conflicting to how they’ve dealt with the negotiations so far. I went to the roadshow and I was a super hard no… but I started questioning myself during their presentation. It’s 100 percent fear porn.

im still a NO btw.

So I have a question for you? I've heard many state the company came to the table to fix hiring and attrition, yet this agreement fixes neither. So I ask you,, why? If neither were fixed why would they bother to come back to the table , it obviously doesn't seem to concern them.

My take is there are just too many variables right now to bet $40 an hour to get an extra $15. This is not a 4 year agreement, this is about an 18 month agreement or less and we get another raise. We also will no longer be dealing with these ****forbrains management types.

I have to laugh at those who think the JetBlue pilot group is tough and smart.. Those guys didn't vote alpa in for 20 years because their company handed them money left and right. Eventually the company made a mistake by taking away profit sharing, being stupid and that caused their union to be formed. Now today their company pushed a TA across that raised the bar but left out something those guys still want. That TA is definitely better than ours but not because of what their group did, but because of what their management did. Our management will never do that and if this merger fails and we end up stand alone or worse, part of Frontier, you will not see these rates again.

So what you call fear, many call common sense. Does this TA **** me off, yes, but my eyes are on the future and what might be, not living in the past dealing with this turd of a company. It's time for this pilot group to work for a real company that has a future!

I've changed to a yes vote btw. There are FAR too many variables to risk a lot for a little.

Merry Christmas! 🍻

I’m not sure the company thinks this way. They’ve probably concluded that a yes vote does just enough to Bandaid the attrition/retention until it’s JB’s mess.

They came to the table because they “obviously“ are concerned. Why come at all if they didn’t care. Early openers does not require early results. If they didn’t care they would have dragged negotiations out indefinitely. You’ve been here long enough to know they wouldn’t spend a dime extra on labor groups unless they had to. Why now?

Must have low self worth if you’re voting for this POS. A lot of us in here are worth a lot more than this low their pay-scale this TA is trying to sell.

Keep pushing your “yes” vote blather on the “2022 AIP Discussion” chat. A lot of us find it humorous….

But then you can flex you “voted No” whenever your “cred” is questioned. You have forum internet history.
