Johnny's dad has been abusing him too long, and now Johnny has a case of Stockholm Syndrome. Dad hopes the crappy Christmas skates are going to atone for the awkward situation with Johnny, meanwhile he's secretly socking money away for a vacation home in the Bahamas so he can run away with his side piece and disown Johnny the red-headed step-child once and for all.

The JCBA won’t go to arbitration because neither NK or JBLU have a binding arbitration clause in our current CBAs, unlike Alaska which has binding arbitration forced on them because that had an arbitration clause.
Arbitration would be a huge disadvantage to the pilots, and we don’t have it in our contract. So as far as it being 100%, nope.
This has been covered on every road show.

Johnny’s mom ended up getting on at OnlyFans.com and now they make a lot of money and Johnny has a way cooler bike than Tommy and they lived happy ever after.

I’m not sure about writing off parked aircraft as losses, maybe. They aren’t making money, that is for sure. Will we be profitable if we’re paid the TA rates? I think management thinks we will, otherwise why offer the raise??? That’s not addressed anywhere by the roadshow i saw. They make it seem like the TA is a gift from Spirit that they can barely afford and will put us in debt even more.
I can honestly see where the NC and MEC and ALPA legal are coming from. It’s the safe bet, “3 bites of the apple”. I’ve watched the roadshow, went through the FAQ, and it makes sense. But it’s a little biased and has slight flavor of fear mongering sprinkled throughout which I find distasteful. I’m voting no.

I mean I've known people in my life and I'm sure everyone here has known or heard of someone who quit their good paying job and took a lesser paying job while going through divorce. This is no different. If I'm playing poker, I don't show my hand.
Market rates for pilots have nothing to do with the company's accountants making their books look bad on purpose.
Definitely agree with the veiled fear mongering though. Based on chat groups, it's working... unfortunately, it came time to stiffen the old back and well...
