I got news for you. Most of the highest paid people I know are some of the most unreasonable. They wear people down to get what they want. It’s time we stop being reasonable push overs

I've never met anyone with serious self made wealth who was a "go with the flow" agreeable yes man type. That stuff is for poor people.

We are both equally stupid line pilots. Having said that, the reason we are losing money, according to the people that supposedly know, is that we don’t fly our planes enough because we don’t have enough monkeys. Waited for the plane to get to the gate in MCO for 45 minutes yesterday, there were 3 planes waiting for rampers at the time. Probably $3K in wages and fuel, because they don’t want to spend more than $15/hr for a ramp guy. But the bean counters are right?! And there is no way it’s cheaper to not fly airplanes, you know why? Because the reason we are losing money is because we are not flying planes, not because we are paying too much, at least according to the bean counters…. Moron

The vote ends in 3 weeks. Just educate yourself and make a decision. Spirit has no desire to jack up rates if we're staying since CBA bargaining would open up immediately. They have no desire to jack up rates if we're leaving because we're leaving and that would be JB's job. SLI is a concern for us and there is an argument to be made for saying yes or saying no. If you think we'll all be wearing blue shirts soon then it's easy to say yes, but saying no might get us a few bucks and if that works then maybe it will help in SLI. If you think we're going to be flying yellow busses after this deal is dead then there's an argument to say yes while we renegotiate or say no and maybe we get a few more bucks if we say no at the risk of a full Section 6. There's risk for a yes and risk for a no. December 9 was a big date to many here who wanted a TA by then... And then DL numbers came out. I feel like this TA missed the mark but by how much? Enough to take the deal and run? Stand your ground? If you're like me you've changed your mind a few times. Time to wait for this to play out over the New Year and then make a decision. I don't care how you vote, but don't do it emotionally.

Everyone’s gotta make their own informed decision. Clearly our rates are very low and not market by any means. I’m a no vote. Don’t need to go to a roadshow to hear them spout some propaganda. They haven’t had a roadshow yet after JBU TA. Nothing they say can make me vote yes for this. But to each their own. Spirit CANNOT go too long without first year pay raise. We absolutely will not go into TPA with 2018 rates. AA is having a TA in Jan along with very reputable rumors (if such a thing exists) that wholly owned will get AA seniority #s to stop them from leaving for other airlines. Spirit is not giving us a pay raise out of the goodness of their heart. They NEED this more than we do. So I’m a no vote. And I’m confident they'll come back with much higher. Also. Don’t listen to the crap about this is the best they can offer. It’s managements job to find the money. Raise ticket price. Ancillary fees. Wi-Fi. Whatever they gotta do. That’s not my problem. I know my worth. And our TA is a slap in my face. Union guys are trying to sell a turd to us. Make your own informed decision
don’t forget. Spirit is among the lowest paid majors in the country. They need to staff. They’ll do whatever they have to.

What is incorrect? I hope the majority or our pilot group is more educated than me too. But here you are lobbing hand grenades at someone who is trying to make some sense of this. You're offering nothing.

You would have a better chance discussing this TA with your pet.
