Bet it gets voted down now. After that the company will only negotiate a full section 6 negotiation and offer pre employment bonuses. At least we might see those JetBlue rates in 4 or 5 years if they vote it in.

Its possible but they'd have to offer about 40k bonus to every pilot just to break even with the regionals at $95/hr with no training contract.

True. But I bet that’s cheaper than 400 plus million over two years.

If they hired 1400 next year that would be about 55mil. at 40 a pop. They would be getting off cheap. I’m fine with waiting for a JCBA by the way to get something good.

A lot of your questions and complaints will be answered by the presentation. They also explain why if we do turn this down, we could possibly go into the TPA and the SLI with C2018, which could negatively impact the "career expectations" part of the SLI argument for our side. The ALPA lawyer conveyed that timing really isn't on our side if we turn this down.

Reserve drops was one of my biggest disappointments as well as many on this board (I'm on reserve right now), but they explained why we didn't get that as well. It was I believe the only goal not achieved in this TA.

One of the goals for the TPA is "economic symmetry" with Jetblue.

Everyone has to do what they think is best, and this isn't what a lot of us were hoping for, but I do trust the negotiating team and the pay gains are significant.

Again, go to a roadshow and make an informed decision.
So let me get this right. An ALPA lawyer (who cannot be involved in SLI discussions per ALPA's own merger policy) told you if we don't take this deal it will hurt us in SLI negotiations? That's rich. This makes me glad to know ALPA lawyers aren't allowed in the room during SLI negotiations.

It’s why you need to learn swear words in Spanish. None of the gringo mods speak the tongue.

funny 3/4 of the guys on the JetBlue forums are ****ed they didn’t get profit sharing and because of that they are voting NO. Can’t please anyone these days.

Anyways,

you work for a company where it is approved to wear a wannabe Northface jacket to work and look like a F*cking slob…well you get paid like one.

guys get so mad on here about the thought of looking like a professional and wearing a hat. But look at Delta…

This is the dumbest line of mierda I've read in a long time

It has less to do with the jacket that you so love and more to do with our union having no cojones
