But what do you know for a fact?
Utilization is down and mgmt wants to attract more pilots, which is why they are at the table BEFORE your CBA amenable date and quickly decided on new rates. I call that significant leverage. Unless you believe they just love you and want to do so much more for you.

I haven't been in here in a while. Is anybody talking about the company being able to raise 1st year pay on their own?
Both of my regional reps have said that this ta is non-consessionary. Bull ****. Look how well that clause is going for frontier.
I'm a no until that is gone.

Reps basically said that the company insisted on both the weighted payscale favoring DOS+1 because they are losing money and insultingly low training pay. Not exactly items that suggest the company is going to be desperate to come right back to the table to substantially increase compensation if this is voted down

Honestly if I were at the table and they played that “we are too broke to pay DOS, I would ask why we are the only airline not making money and perhaps the problem is at that end of the negotiating table.

Well we are losing money, but because of them, not in spite of them. They are losers, plain and simple.

I think this would easily pass with: $10-15/hr more. 16% DC now, 17% in 2024. $13 night override immediately. Snap up clause in the event the merger gets shot down.

You really have to read the details it says that if the Jetblue deal falls through we immediately go back to contract negotiations.
I think the intent of this TA is to bring us to JetBlue or a little bit better than JetBlue rates, Until the Jetblue/ Spirit pilot integration is complete.

As long as they want, but at least we would be entitled to seek retro pay since the contract would be immediately amendable in such a circumstance (a mediator would likely side with us on that). Right now if we turn it down, we’re looking at a minimum of a few months of lost wage increases with an approximately 0% chance of any form of retro to make up for it.
