this is also correct because people want to have the benefit of the pay raise while also being able to complain about it. You will almost never find someone who voted yes to the 2018 contract but amazingly 70% did. Closet yes voters just want it both ways.

I was a yes in 2018 and I’ll vote yes today and could care less what anyone thinks about it…

That's cool, but that does make me curious why you think you're worth so little

How does making more money than American (NB), Air Canada, and Southwest pilots and having better work rules than them make you worth so little?

Come on, even if you’re trolling, you know “making more money” only lasts a few months as the others finish their negotiations. And do you honestly think AA and SWA (I don’t know anything about Canadian airlines) will settle for Alaska rates or lower? Is that really a win to you?

Makes me wonder what the lowest “minimum ask” on the survey was. Some people don’t think they’re worth that much.

Exactly !

I bid high, hoping it would get most of the way there. It didn't even cross the street to get on the bus.

When most of the negotiators for the TA are year 12 CA’s is it a surprise that 12y CA’s are the ONLY ones who got the new AK rates?
