This time it feels very very different in terms of outrage and the amount of no voters. If JetBlue gets a TA before the vote then game over for sure.

Agreed, this definitely has a different feel than 2018. I’d be happy if we just got a jetBlue snap up clause.

Question is would the MEC take the hint and rescind the vote or are they gonna make us vote it down to give them some ammo to go back with.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the company starts to get indications that it won’t pass that they up the offer slightly. Probably gonna have to vote it down though. I’m gonna wait and see the full details, but as of right now I’m leaning heavily towards no.

Good luck in your career.
No voter last time and will be a No this time as well. At this point I just roll my eyes when people complain about reserve, esp those who were here for the last vote. You all voted for this crap reserve, enjoy. Super disappointed we didn’t even make Alaska rates. This should absolutely be voted down but…..

I voted yes last time, the leverage was absolutely not there in 2018. I’m probably voting No this time, it is night and day difference.

That’s the vibe I’m getting. Even yes voters from last time are like hell no this time.

Same boat here. C2018 wasn’t bad (got a 52+% pay bump), and we had a TRO…. Those who said we had leverage back then, I question their sanity. This time is different. My biggest hang-ups are the lack of snap-up (even if it’s JetBlue only) and the 1st year pay ala Frontier thingie. If that goes through, we will have depleted ALL of our bargaining power if we remain independent.

Exactly and it will hurt our bargaining power for the JCBA as well.

I’m not going to re-hash C2018, that’s spilt milk under the bridge.

I do agree with your concerns about this offer, it’s not enough to hand over the leverage.
