yeh I think the policy is leftover from the days when we only had two 321s.. no need for separate pay scales for 2 airplanes.
So they came up with a calculation that divided 321 block amongst total block time and give everyone a few Penny’s . Same calculation now, with more 321s … it’s worth a few bucks a month

I am just using the pay scale on APC

https://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/airlines/major-national-lcc/jetblue_airways

It shows I would be making $12 more an hour than a Jetblue pilot under my pay scale.

Are the pay rates on airline pilot central not correct?

yeah I just looked at my pay stub. I never look at the override .. not sure why but I don’t. It’s paid me almost $4500 year to date , so it’s certainly something..

The A220 pay rates are way off, the TOS A220 CA is $271.53.

But my only point was for your statement to be true it assumes JB doesn't TA pay increase prior to the JCBA. Which is likely not true. Of course you never know.

JetBlue will have a big TA before the JCBA

You really have to read the details it says that if the Jetblue deal falls through we immediately go back to contract negotiations.

I think the intent of this TA is to bring us to JetBlue or a little bit better than JetBlue rates, Until the Jetblue/ Spirit pilot integration is complete.

let’s please have a realistic understanding of what this TA is about and be appreciative of its intent.
We will have zero leverage then as they can move up first year pay. It will be a standard spirit negotiation at that point. Stall for years. Now is the time.

Exactly. I don't understand how so many are missing this point. This is a HUGE concession.

you want to to wait another 6-8 months for more money then go ahead and vote no.

If this crappy TA passes Spirit will be stuck at the bottom for another four or five years until the JetBlue contract goes through. If JetBlue deal even goes through.
Waiting for a better deal in a few months or agreeing to be at the bottom for years?? It is an easy easy easy choice……DEFINITELY A NO VOTE.
