Must be some good grass they are smoking if they think these pay rates for FO's are going to bring new blood here, let alone retain any of them. Pure trash, here are the #'s side by side with Alaska.
Why would someone what to come here / stay here? For the low tier pay and spotty wifi on our planes? Must be for the "High Fives"

You are comparing alaskas numbers 9 months after our numbers. Compare the ones 3 months prior to ours and they are much more similar. Still lower, but your charts are misleading nonetheless. Also, our numbers should include the 321 override for an accurate comparison.

DART the union. Be respectful. Be thankful for their efforts. But also let them know this is unacceptable.

those AK day one rates are wrong, but I’m sure you already know that.

yeah this chart is inaccurate flame-baiting. 1/1/23
AK 10 year CA $300
NK 10 year CA proposed $291

took them 3 years to get that and us 3 months to get within striking distance of that.. wanna wait 6,8,18 months more to get that $9 and maybe another $9??

and if you really wanna make your blood boil : 1/1/23
NK 10 CA $291
UA 10 CA $279.

im underwhelmed by this proposal. And I’m not advocating yay or nay. It could be better but I’m not exactly jumping off a bridge either. I try to call balls and strikes when I see them … that chart was way outside the zone…

You seriously did not just use UA as an example to make your argument did you?

It’s a solid deal if the baseline is what the MEC and NC said all along it was, which was as close to Alaska as possible. It’s a bad deal if the baseline is delta. Can we get to delta rates? Maybe after a year or two of MEC recalls and stalled out negotiations while we lose hundreds of pilots. We will see.
If you believe the company won’t be tripping over themselves to get back to the table quickly you’re mistaken. This time is not normal. Notice we have an agreement before the amendable date. I could almost guarantee we would be presented with offer number two prior to March if this thing goes down like it should in January.

BTW Alaska has snap up to legacy. We do not

I did . Was $279 inaccurate ? What’s 10 year CA pay 1/1/23 over there ?
