You don't get it. Pilots pay goes to top, guess what FAs want top pay, rampers, mechanics, etc. Overall labor bill is HUGE for any airline. I'm not not just talking about pilot pay. Total labor. Your business models thrives on lower costs which pretty much equals lower wages all around.

This is premature. There is a well defined process for how this all works, and if the AIP is determined to not meet expectations then the NC will be sent back with updated parameters to negotiate to. Let’s not campaign to throw anyone under the bus with no information about what was on the table.

I am intimately aware of how this process works from inside the ring and stand by my thought. If the NC brings an agreement to the MEC that doesn't pass their approval, then the NC either didn't know what the parameters were to start with or the MEC moved the goal line and didn't tell them.
