If I had to guess, it would be the ones that retain nearly everyone they hire. Just a guess though...

Except he isn’t. I’m fairly certain he’s DFW based. There are 12 - yes TWELVE FOs being displaced. It’s nothing in the realm of ORD or DTW.

Personally that’s a F’n joke to even F with such a meaningless minuscule number of FOs like that. I realize the CA is bigger, but messing with 12 guys? F that.

It’s painfully obvious this displacement won’t do jack $hit with recovering the operation. Our idiotic project greenfield has made it clear this solves zero issues hence why my entire last day (4 days after Ian in an entirely different part of the country) was axed and we were the only airline canceling 20%+ days after.

Sadly it’s clear Ted and Bendo are way too butt hurt about Frontier and will continue to be total clowns until this BS is over with and they can run to Denver.

He was saying how great his seniority is and how he can hold Captain at bases including ORD and DTW. Which is worthless since pilots senior to him will be displaced from those bases in a few months. So yeah, saying he can “hold” CA in ORD and DTW is not the full story.

Ahh. I gotcha. Yeah. It’s really really stupid they are upgrading people into bases they won’t hold in a couple months. 🙄

Contractually they have to, and I’m glad they are having to because they have to pay to displace those pilots. Anyone upgrading into those bases knows they will be displaced, but now they can get a free move or the $2500 (I believe) for the displacement. Company should have to pay every penny required for this displacement. A displacement 100% because management can’t manage to run an airline at full utilization because of staffing.

Seriously, read the CBA. You may learn something. Oh, and make an educated vote when the time comes for a new one.

Yes I am aware. I’m based in ORD. I see the constant junior CA upgrades coming in below me. Most coming in aren’t based anywhere near ORD and are commuting for essentially no reason for 2-3 months when they get canned to FL. THAT ASPECT is stupid. Again I’m aware of the CBA. Thanks for your concern.

As Cinco said it’s gonna cost em which is good - so there is that. And as the union stated, none of this realignment is going to help make CS answer phones r the company in whole do anything better lol. I commute and very well would expect my voluntary displacement (to help a local junior folk) to happen for $2500.

What's REALLY funny is, if they had just started growing the bases they needed LAST YEAR when they cancelled the original displacement, we'd be pretty darn close to having those bases staffed. Without a displacement. Life's about to get really crappy for a bunch of pilots being displaced away from their homes. Great way to retain pilots.

The payout for being displaced is a complete joke. This is not a win for the pilots.
